SUBJECTS & GRADING
With right combinations of A/Level subjects, students will be able to pursue their degree programmes in their chosen universities. 
A/L Programme: 
Students on this programme are required to register and sit for three(3) A/L subjects in the examination. These subjects must be chosen from the list provided at the right pane here, and relevant to the undergraduate programmes they wish to go for in the universities.You may need to consult the brochure for necessary guidance regarding subjects that are relevant to your proposed degree programme.however, you will still need to check specific details regarding each university under your consideration. You can also contact us for couselling. 

O/L Programme: 

The Ordinary Level examination is meant to remedy deficiencies in English Language and Mathematics at the same level in the WAEC, NECO, NABTEB or Cambridge (CIE) results, As students having deficiencies in O/Level English Language and Mathematics in their WAEC, NECO or NABTEB examinations can sit for these subjects. Such students are not necessarily A/L students. You can register for one or both O/Level subjects, depending on the number of deficiencies.

Subjects offered in IJMB ELIGIBLITY OF THE EXAMINATION 

i. The IJMB is conducted once a year. Those eligibility to sit the for IJMB examination are holders of the following qualifications or the following qualifications or their equivalents: 

ii. The Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSSCE) I.e. (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB) 

iii. The General Certificate Examination (GCE) I.e. (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB) STUCTURE OF THE EXAMINATION IJMB consist of three subjects which is further divided into two or three papers as the subject maybe. Prospective candidates are advised to seek the advice of their teachers, IJMB coordinator and guidance or career counselor in their choice of elective subjects for the IJMB.

APPLICATION FEE
Registration fee for IJMB programme with Learn More Nigeria is N8,500 plus bank charges of N250 can be paid either via direct bank deposite or online via ATM Card only to the learn more nigeria account details stated on this website, and this does not vary in any circumstance and does not vary based on centres you choose, registration are done and students are posted to their selected place of study.



SCHOOL FEE
Registering with Learn More Nigeria for IJMB, your school fees for the programme cover both tuition and examination. The fees are cheaper than those charged by other centres and corresponding Cambridge GCE A/Level.These fees vary with combinations of subjects but at a maximum amount of #80,000 (for the whole period of the programme) which can be payed installmentally.

OTHER COSTS
Your school fees does not cover other charges such as accommodation etc, unless otherwise stated. In this regard, you are required to pay for this charges separately, As Learn More Nigeria is willing to help interested applicants in booking down for their accommodation, and this can be booked before your arrival and payment is made once you are satisfied with the provisions and only on your arrival. Recommended books shall be given to you once you come over for the programme.

  • WHAT IS IJMB :
  • IJMB means Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) is an Advanced Level (A'level) nine months federal government programme run and moderated by Ahmadu Bello University, ABU Zaria.
  • IJMB is an A'level 9 month programme certified by NUC (Nigeria University Commission) CHECK PAGE 4 OF JAMB BROCHURE, ITEM 2.2(2) TO CONFIRM IJMB AS A REQUIREMENT FOR UNIVERSITY EDUCATION THROUGH DIRECT ENTRY.
  • IJMB was setup to serve as an alternative mode of gaining admission into tertiary institutions in Nigeria into 200 level via Direct Entry (D.E) and majority of Nigerian universities recognize the IJMB result as a criteria for gaining university admission.
  • IJMB is a programme many of you must have heard of through friends, colleagues, family members etc. Hundreds of thousands of students have gone through the programme since its inception, and have completed their degree programmes in their chosen universities.


  • WHEN DID IJMB STARTED : IJMB - Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) was established in 1976 by the Interim Common Services Agency (ICSA). ICSA itself was established by the government of the old Northern Region of Nigeria to provide educational and social services to the people of the region.


  • WHAT IS IJMB : IJMB - Interim Joint Matriculation Board Examination (IJMB) was first held in 1977 for all students who had undergone the IJMBE post secondary education program in the existing schools of Basic/ Preliminary studies which had replaced the HSCE.Presently IJMB now serve as an Advanced Level Examination which guarantee candidate admission into 200level.


  • WHERE DID IJMB ORIGINATE : IJMB Board is administered by the Institute of Education of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria. Other members of the board include representatives of various education institutions such as Joint Admission Matriculation Board; Federal University of Technology, Minna.
